THANK YOU FROM URBANLIFE!

This past year Son of Man was able to team up with UrbanLife.

“UrbanLife is so thankful to have Son of Man as a partner in our mission of transforming the neighborhoods of City Heights and SouthEast San Diego by transforming youth with Jesus’ message. Through SOM sales we’ve been able to receive a sizable donation which helps us continue to provide critical needed programs like after school clubs, jobs through farming and running programs to our inner city neighborhoods. Not only has SOM helped us financially, the founder also volunteers at one of our high school programs. He has brought an excitement to students with his giving spirit, always bringing hats or socks as giveaway prizes for students. We have seen students wearing the gear on their high school campus proudly. UrbanLife is thankful for a SOM’s vision to not just be a company that is trying to drive up profits for self gain but for the kingdom, it’s so rare and refreshing! Thank you again Son of Man!”

Last month we had a please working with and donating caps to Urbanlife. They exists to see transformed people transform out neighborhoods through Christian community development initiatives and vibrant missional communities that love God, neighbor, and ‘hood. They believe that the youth of our ‘hoods have a massive potential to become world changing leaders so they invest most of their time and resources into them. One of the ways they do that is through a weekly outreach to the high schools in their neighborhood. Each week 30-40 students from Crawford high school come to their City Heights campus and enjoy a fresh cooked meal, games and small group bible studies that help students learn who God is and how he loves them and is calling them to follow and obey him. Each year they do a 3 week series where they go through the gospel, first night is sin, second is the cross and lastly resurrection. For students who attend all 3 they receive a gift, this year we were able to offer customized Dad hats for their students. It was great because students we’re able to help in the design process and we’re super excited with the outcome.

If you need some custom hats for your missionary please don’t hesitate to ask!!!

POWER OF PURITY CONFERENCE

POP2

On June 25th we had the privilege to attend and also be a vendor at Power of Purity Conference. It was located at the Murrieta Hot Springs Conference Center. It was hosted by On The Edge and I am Royalty. We were able to meet a lot of youth as well as adults. It was definitely an honor being there. It brought a realization to the youth what kind of world we really live in. It also taught the greatest love story and fight story that was every told and that will ever be told. It’s a story of how the Lord as the bridegroom fought for His bride (the church) on the cross. It was on the cross that He fought for her freedom, fought so that she could be free from sin, fought so that she could be made whole again in His nail pierced hands, and fought so that she could be crowned with an eternal crown as His beloved. On the cross the King of the universe pursued the heart of His bride, and made her story of brokenness beautiful. The truth is, we each have a love story with God. A love story that began the day we gave our heart to Him, and will end the day we meet Him face to face. In our love story we have with God, He is the rider on the white horse who defeated the greatest villain of all time ; Satan, so that we could have a happily ever after ending with Him in Heaven. You can visit their website at http://www.iamroyaltyministry.com/power-of-purity-conference-2016.html

COFFEE SHOP FUNDRAISER

sdcf

On June 10th we had the privilege to be a vendor at San Diego Christian Fellowship. They were hosting a coffee shop fundraiser. Funds were being raised to help their youth group and leaders build homes in Tijuana, Mexico. Enough money was raised to 3 homes. It was such an amazing experience. There was awesome talent as well as some great snacks! With each hat purchased 50% of the sale was donated to SDCF for the Mexico missions trip.
